I do not get this one. The US is the country who actually sent Arar to Syria, though he was a Canadian citizen, shouldn't the US be blamed too? They have been found to have been torturing people which is clearly against the Geneva conventions yet I don't see any action being taken against them.

The illegal invasion (says Koffi Annan) of Iraq should be enough. The US continues to defy international law yet there are clearly no reprucussions for them.

My thoughts are that the US's influence over the UN are largely paying off for them.
