The BCMA

The BCMA, British Columbia Muslim Association, claims they have tried to contact CBC for interviews, for visits on Eid, but no one has come. I have a sister who works for CBC and found out that they never received a invitation. If BCMA is doing this, than why doesn’t anyone ever hear about it in the Mosques. I have a brother in Vancouver, and I ask him all the time about what BCMA is doing to do damage control on our Muslim brother’s and sister’s; and I hear nothing. Nothing is being done by the very organization that is supposed to help recover our Islamic face. What are they there for? It’s all about politics, I doubt any of them have really researched the religion or done their own study on Islam. We’re being led by fools! Muslim brothers and sisters are not even reading the Quran, like Areeb Yasir said. It’s just sad that we all complain so much, but never do a thing. It’s just sad. And if yeah CBC isn’t the best place to go for proper information, in fact not even CNN is terrible for providing correct stories...
